Laura has introduced yoga to us in such an inspirational way. She is very attentive to our needs and watches over us with great care. Laura is an incredible yoga instructor with a super intuitive teaching style. She leads such a great class and each one is so different, emphasizing such different elements. She was the first teacher to notice that I'm doing my downdog wrong. She really helps her students reach their full potential, and her instruction is at once really relaxing AND very challenging. I only wish she had more classes! And she has a lovely voice to boot!
Time flies by effortlessly in Laura's classes. After class, I practically stumble out, filled with deep relaxation, warmth, and happiness. At the start of each class, Laura asks her students which areas of the body they'd like to work on. She has the gift of making even large group classes seem like a private session. More than anything, Laura really cares. She always makes herself available for questions and chatting and warms your heart with her amazing, open smile.
I began practicing yoga with Laura before my second pregnancy. I was able to continue with modifications until the middle of my eighth month. I couldn't wait to return after the birth of my daughter and now am finding balance, strength, and gratitude for what my body is capable of. Laura's classes are very organic in the way that she leads us through centering, active, and restorative/meditative states. It's often as if she feels what the class needs, conversing with us in poses, always accessible. The worries of the day fade away and I often leave lighter, as if gravity's effects have lessened. She is a bright, calm guide.
