MeditationMeditation is a practice in which an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or for the mind to simply acknowledge its content without becoming identified with that content, or as an end in itself. The term meditation refers to a broad variety of practices that includes techniques designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy or life force (qi, ki, prana, etc.) and develop compassion, love, patience, generosity and forgiveness. A particularly ambitious form of meditation aims at effortlessly sustained single-pointed concentration meant to enable its practitioner to enjoy an indestructible sense of well-being while engaging in any life activity.

Marma Point Therapy (Acupressure)The word “Marma” comes from the Sanskrit root word “mru” or “mar” and can be translated as “vulnerable, sensitive, hidden or secret.” Marmas are centers for prana, the life-force and power behind all physical and psychological processes. Through the correct knowledge and manipulation of Marmas, our entire mental and physical energy can be increased, decreased or redirected in a transformative manner. A treatment involves pressing these Marmas on the body to promote wellness and transformation.

Sound Healing"Music should be healing. Music should uplift the soul. Music should inspire." -Hazrat Inayat Khan
"Music is the medicine of the mind." -John A. Logan Sound has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing. Whether through the use of mantras as with the Hindis, the Icaros (medicine melodies) of various Indigenous peoples from Central and South America, or Pythagoras' use of interval and frequency, these various techniques all have the same intention: to move us from a place of imbalance to a place of balance. |
Space ClearingSpace clearing is the feng shui art of clearing and revitalizing energies in spaces, indoor or outdoor. It's as essential to the energy maintenance of a place as physical cleaning is to the physical maintenance. Energetically, everything that ever happens in a building goes out in ripples like the effect of a stone being dropped in a pond. It is recorded in the walls, floor, ceiling, furniture, and other objects in the place. Repetitive actions and behaviours are deeply imprinted, and events accompanied by strong emotions or trauma are the most strongly imprinted of all, so it is important to clear spaces on a regular basis.

Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of natural healing that has its origins in the Vedic culture of India. Although suppressed during years of foreign occupation, Ayurveda has been enjoying a major resurgence in both its native land and throughout the world. Tibetan medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine both have their roots in Ayurveda. Early Greek medicine also embraced many concepts originally described in the classical ayurvedic medical texts dating back thousands of years.
More than a mere system of treating illness, Ayurveda is a science of life (Ayur = life,Veda = science or knowledge). It offers a body of wisdom designed to help people stay vital while realizing their full human potential. Providing guidelines on ideal daily and seasonal routines, diet, behavior and the proper use of our senses, Ayurveda reminds us that health is the balanced and dynamic integration between our environment, body, mind, and spirit. |
